Color People

I got these great colored clothespins at a garage sale for .25 cents and sat down with Mason and drew faces on them. We called them Mr. Purple, Mr. Red, etc... We then obviously learned our colors this way but also worked on front and back and top and bottom and listening to instructions as I would say Mason put Mr. Red on the top and Mr. Yellow on the bottom. Or Mr. Blue goes in front and Mr. Purple in the back. Quick and easy activity that Mason seemed to enjoy.

Spray Painting

Filled spray bottles w/ a little paint and water got canvas piece of fabric and spray painted away!

Block Letter Painting

We are all about Letters this summer! I'm not pushing too much "school" right now but Mason is obsessed with the letters around him so I thought of a new way to work with them and have some fun. Just got out the paint and some of his letter blocks and paper. Mason wrote his name with them and then just stamped whatever letters he wanted to. We then made name tags for everyone in the family and I put them on our chairs at the table. I'm slowly working at having a print rich environment in our home to I can subtly teach him words and their associations.
